The Efreet Nacht is a modified version of the close-combat mobile suit MS-08TX Efreet, designed specifically for stealth operations and night combat, as its name suggests ("nacht" being German for "night"). It is equipped with a powerful jamming system capable of disrupting radar and mobile suit sensors, making it highly effective in covert missions.
To enhance its stealth properties, the air ducts on the Efreet Nacht's chest were removed, and it was outfitted with a new backpack featuring retractable thrusters. Additionally, twin thruster units were added to its legs, further improving its thrust and mobility. To avoid heat detection, the Efreet Nacht's primary weapon was changed from the heat saber to a ninjato-style physical sword known as the Cold Blade. For ranged combat, it is equipped with four Cold Kunai for throwing, as well as a three-barrel Gatling gun concealed in the left forearm. This combination of weapons and stealth features makes the Efreet Nacht a formidable opponent in night operations.
The RX-81, unlike the mass-produced GM series that prioritized productivity and thus had considerably lower specifications than the RX-78-2 Gundam, was designed to retain the high specifications of the Gundam. Additionally, the RX-81's design incorporates the FSWS (Full-armor System and Weapon System), which allows for an increased variety of weapons and armor configurations, resulting in multiple forms that the mobile suit can change into depending on the situation. The mobile suit's backpacks can be swapped out as needed, with two thrusters for ground operations and six for space, allowing it to adapt to different combat environments effectively.

The RX-81ST G-Line Standard Armor is the standard configuration of the RX-81 G-Line, designed to be highly versatile and usable in all ranges of combat. This configuration allows the mobile suit to adapt to various battlefield conditions effectively. When additional firepower is needed, the RX-81ST can be equipped with extra armaments on its backpack, enhancing its attack capabilities. In its fully equipped state, the suit features a backpack with two additional medium stabilizers, which serve to extend the suit's operational time, making it suitable for prolonged missions.
Model Number: RX-81LA
Out of the three equipment sets, the RX-81LA Light Armor configuration is the lightest, offering low defense but the highest level of mobility. This high-performance mobile suit is primarily deployed by ace pilots who require exceptional speed and maneuverability in combat. To achieve this, the Light Armor RX-81's armor is made very thin to reduce weight, and short-range combat armaments have been removed to optimize the thrust-to-weight ratio and increase overall speed.
The backpack of the RX-81LA mounts a large stabilizer, further enhancing its high-mobility performance. For long-range engagements, it is equipped with a head-mounted sensor unit. Additionally, the suit can be fitted with various optional weapons, including missile launchers, an assault cannon, or gatling smasher guns, making it versatile in different combat scenarios.
