Sizzler Black

The Sizzler is a mass-production combat mecha developed as a simplified derivative of the Gunbuster. A total of 800 units were deployed in the final battle against the Space Monsters, with one piloted by Jung Freud.

Appearance

Standing approximately 130 meters tall—just over half the size of the original Gunbuster—the Sizzler weighs around 2,900 tons. Unlike its predecessor, it is equipped with only a single Degeneracy Generator, capable of producing an energy output of 10²⁶ joules per second, equivalent to the luminosity of the Sun.

Its armor is reinforced with a lightwave coating, designed to absorb ether shockwaves encountered during near-lightspeed travel. The Sizzler was manufactured in three distinct color variants: Black, White, and Silver.
