VF-19 Excalibur was introduced to phase out VF-11, which had been in operation since 2040. Various models were deployed in frontier colonies, with one such model being assigned to Aisha Blanchette of the Strategic Military Services (S.M.S.) Ouroboros Branch. She recolored the fighter in her signature pink color scheme. She also made several modifications to its engine and armament.
